Author Guidelines
For publication in the journal are accepted articles of employees, graduate students and students of Moscow State University (including in collaboration with representatives of other organizations) in Russian. The text is accompanied by an extract from the minutes of the department meeting, an examination certificate, agreements on the transfer of copyrights to the Russian and English versions, information about all authors: last name, first name and patronymic (in full), department, position, academic title, academic degree, address places of work of authors with an index (in Russian and English), home and work telephone, mobile, e-mail (required). Articles are accepted at the Geological Faculty of Moscow State University, room. 515a.
Requirements for the design of the article and a brief message
1. The total volume of the article (including figures and references) should not exceed 24 pages, the total length of the short message is 6 pages. It is recommended to standardize the structure of the article using subtitles, for example: introduction, theoretical analysis, methodology, experimental part, results and their discussion, conclusion (conclusions), etc.
2. An abstract (6–8 lines) and keywords (6–8) in Russian, as well as a summary and keywords in English are attached to the article on a separate page. On a separate page, you must attach a translation of the names, initials of the authors and the title of the article into English.
3. Before the title of the work must be put down UDC.
4. The text should be prepared in the Word editor using Times New Roman font 12. The file name can contain up to 8 characters and have the extensions .doc or .txt. The text should be printed through 2 intervals, the fields from all sides of 2.5 cm. The text is presented on a separate medium (CD-ROM) and in 2 copies. printouts. Pages should be numbered.
5. Figures, photographs, tables, figure captions are attached separately in 2 copies. at the end of the article. Each table should be printed on a separate page in the same font, after 2 intervals, have a thematic title and not duplicate text. Tables are numbered in Arabic numerals in the order in which they are mentioned in the text. All columns in tables should have headings and be separated by vertical lines. Abbreviations of words in the tables are not allowed. The material in rows should be separated by horizontal lines.
6. Formulas, mathematical and chemical signs should have a clear writing.
7. The dimension of all physical quantities must comply with the International System of Units (SI).
8. The bibliography should contain in alphabetical order all cited and referred to in the text of the work, foreign literature is placed after the domestic, also in alphabetical order. When referring to an invention, it is necessary to indicate the year, number and page of the Bulletin of Inventions. References to unpublished works are not allowed (references to the oral report and the author's abstract of the candidate or doctoral dissertation are possible). The bibliographic description is given in the following order: the names and initials of the authors, the title of the article, the full title of the work, the place of publication, the publishing house, the year of publication (for non-periodical editions), for periodicals the names and initials of the authors, the title of the article, the name of the journal, the year of publication, volume , page number. The reference to the literary source in the text is as follows: "In [Ivanov et al., 1999] it is indicated that ...".
9. No abbreviations of words, names, names, as a rule, are not allowed. Only generally accepted abbreviations of the names of measures, physical, chemical and mathematical quantities and terms, etc. are allowed. All abbreviations relating to concepts, analytical methods and data processing, as well as instruments, should be decoded when first used in the text.
10. Each drawing should be made on white paper in the form of a computer printout on a laser printer. For raster (tone) pictures, use the TIFF format with a resolution of 600 dpi; vector drawings must be provided in the format of the program in which they are made; For photos, use the TIFF format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Figures and photographs should be black and white, clearly executed and presented in 2 copies. The computer version should have the .tiff or .cdr (Corel Draw) extensions and be provided on a separate carrier (CD or flash drive), the pictures should be recorded in the program in which they were made. On the back of all the illustrations indicate their number, the name of the author and the title of the article.
11. Figure captions are attached on a separate page and are drawn up in accordance with the requirements set forth in paragraph 4.
12. Articles that do not meet the above requirements are not accepted.
13. Additions to the proofs are not made.
14. The editorial staff reserves the right to make abbreviations and editorial changes to the text of articles.
15. The article should have a clear structure and have the following sections: “introduction”, “relevance”, “factual material”, “methodology (methods) of research”, “discussion of results”, “conclusion (s)”, "Thanks". Perhaps the presence in the rubrication and other sections, as well as links to financial support.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS General information about any assistance in conducting work and preparing an article. Notes: 1. Traditionally, this section included information on the financing of works, grants, projects, contracts and other types of financial support. It is highly desirable to transfer this information to a separate section.
